Who are the Schoolhouse Quilters, where do we meet and what do we do?

Our next meeting will be held Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 1:30 PM.  We meet at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 34 Prospect St., Shrewsbury, MA.  We are a group of about 50 members and we meet once a month Sept-June. Our dues are $25 per year.

Schoolhouse Quilters Mission Statement

Since organizing in 1980, the Schoolhouse Quilters
have gathered together in friendship, sharing love of quilting and the desire to share handiwork skills with each other.  We believe in the importance of learning and teaching new techniques and ideas to further the love, craft, and art of quilting.
 

We also believe in the importance of giving to worthy causes.  We endeavor to offer scholarships to students pursuing college education, and giving quilts to

those in need of extra comfort and warmth.

 

Our circle is open to anyone interested in joining our

“love of quilting” group.
